Becoming a first time homeowner can be one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences you can face.  At first it’s all about arranging the furniture, painting and hosting your first party, but as time sets in – even with newer homes – it becomes about fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains and trips to the hardware store.

For instance, I bet you never thought of using a raw potato to remove a broken light bulb base (apparently russets are recommended).
